The Old South Church in the historic town of Windsor was originally founded back in the year 1768, however, the present church was designed by Asher Benjamin and built thirty years later in 1798. Nationally affiliated with the United Church of Christ, the Old South Church celebrated its 250 years as an important part of the local community in 2018. The town itself was charted in 1761 and the history of both the church and town have also been intertwined. With the exception of a front portico that was added in 1920, the church exterior has not been changed since 1798.
