Review:

Established in 1996, The Nature Museum is located in Grafton, Vermont. Its collections interpret the natural history of northern New England, with permanent and temporary exhibits on local plants, animals and geology. Besides interactive exhibits, the museum has hand-painted dioramas and mounted plant and animal specimens. Visitors can crawl through an underground bear den, watch the real honeybees in their glass hive or dig for fossils. The Nature Museum also offers science, nature and environmental education programs for all ages. The Museum is surrounded by a lush garden with native plants, a frog pond where visitors can continue their exploration. Behind the Museum are the trailheads of the Village Park trails, a shady trails that meander through the forest.
