Oukaimeden is a lovely ski resort located high within the High Atlas Mountains, located a little over an hour outside of Marrakech's city center near the peak of Mount Toubkal. The skiing area, which is widely considered to be the country's top winter resort, is located at altitudes of up to 10,500 feet and is serviced by six ski lifts, which take visitors up to the peak of Mount Attar.


Five ski runs are operated during January and February, accessible via one-day skiing passes. Ski rental facilities nearby offer all the skiing equipment and gear tourists could need for their experiences. Four lovely hotels service the resort area, including the lavish new Amazigh Chalet, which offers an American-style restaurant and luxurious chalet rooms.
