Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:
Found in the Wombeyan Karst Conservation Reserve, the Wombeyan Caves offers the opportunity to take guided tours of spectacular limestone caves filled with colorful rock formations. Guided tours are only offered once a day, but if you miss them, you can still take a leisurely self-guided walk through the spectacular Figtree Cave. Visitors who want to see even more of the caves can come on a public holiday when several of the smaller caves are open or take the Heritage Tour, which leads through sections of the cave system that have remained untouched since the candlelight tours of the 1920s.
