Spatenhaus an de Oper (Spatenhaus at the Opera) is actually two restaurants in one location. On the ground floor of the lovely old building you will find rustic décor and a menu of traditional Bavarian cuisine including several types of sausages, soups, dumplings and other classic dishes. Upstairs both the décor and the menu are a little more elegant and refined, more suited to special occasions or business dinners. If you visit during fine weather you can enjoy your meal or drink on the outside terrace – a great place to admire the Opera House and watch the world go by. It would be a shame to leave without tasting a Spaten Beer, produced by the brewery after which the restaurant is named.
