Paris, France is the capital of France, a large, cosmopolitan city that is a major center in Europe and is internationally renowned for food, culture, art, and fashion. The city features many 19th century buildings and wide boulevards. There are many landmarks that draw tourists to the city year after year, with highlights such as the Eiffel Tower, the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral, and the Louvre Museum. Paris is also a major destination for fashionable shoppers who will enjoy strolling the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and admiring the designer boutiques that line it. Paris is quite cool in October but you’ll find better prices and fewer lines at attractions by visiting then.
