1. Bohemian Brewery
Inspired by the ancient beer brewing traditions of Bohemia, which date back to the 1200s, Bohemian Brewery is a locally owned and operated an establishment in Midvale that creates European-style lagers. Following in the footsteps of the legendary Bavarian brewer Josef Groll, who created the first batches of fresh pilsner lager using age-old techniques in 1842, Bohemian Brewery owner Czechoslovakian Joe Petras used his knowledge and skill of conventional European Lager brewing to produce delicious lagers. Bohemian Brewery’s wide selection of draft beers and bottled beers are made from traditional recipes and are available at local bars and pubs, and at state liquor stores.

2. Bonneville Brewery Company
Bonneville Brewery Company is a microbrewery and taproom that began producing its unique line of craft beers in 2012 and has grown from the strength to strength ever since. Located in Tooele, Utah, Bonneville Brewery Company’s roster of brews continues to grow with new staples and a continually developing line of tantalizing seasonal beers, including Antelope Amber Ale, an American-style amber with a creamy caramel and biscuit malt flavor; Peaches and Cream Wheat Ale with specialty caramel and honey malts, and Ton Up Brown Ale, a Northern English Brown Ale made with caramelized brown malt and chocolate. 3. Desert Edge Brewery
Desert Edge Brewery was opened in Salt Lake City in 1973 and serves a selection of handcrafted beers which are produced on site, along with casual fare in a relaxed, laid-back setting. Located in a charming historic trolley garage on Trolley Square, Desert Edge Brewery has been part of the Salt Lake Dining scene for over 30 years and is a favorite spot which attracts both locals and visitors alike. Desert Edge Brewery produces signature brews such as the Latter Day Stout and the Happy Valley Hefeweizen, Gazacca Pale Ale, Vienna Lager, Poptire Porter, and Belgian Witbier, which are available by the glass, pint, pitcher or growler. 4. Epic Brewing Company
Founded over a decade ago, the aptly named Epic Brewing Company is owned by a group of beer-lovers, foodies, and adventurers with a passion for creating great beer and sharing them with the community. The brewery produces high-octane brews strong beers with soaring ABVs in three different styles: classic, elevated, and exponential, all of which have perfect balance and pack a punch when it comes to flavor. 5. Fisher Brewing Company
Originally founded in Salt Lake City in 1884, Fisher Brewing Company is a community-focused craft brewery and taproom that produces and serves handcrafted beers, ales, and lagers, along with casual fare from local food trucks. Located in the Granary District of Salt Lake City, the Fisher Brewing Company features a rotating selection of core, seasonal and limited release beers, which can be sampled on tap in the tasting room, or purchased in various bars, restaurants, and stores around the state. Signature beers include Piney Brown, a hoppy brown ale, Beet Saison, a farmhouse ale, Citra Bomb Tom, an American Pale Ale, Mild Child, an English Dark Mild Ale, and Amber Lager, an American Red Lager. 6. Kiitos Brewing
Located next to the railyard in the burgeoning Granary District, Kiitos Brewing is a trifecta of environmental, social and beer-making concepts and one of Salt Lake’s latest microbreweries. Founded by Andrew Dasenbrock and helmed by brewmaster Adam Bulson, Kiitos Brewing features a high-efficiency brewing system (HEBS) that produces a minimum of 5,000 barrels of 100-percent wheat ale and other beer annually with the lowest environmental impact. Kiitos Brewing produces a core grocery store line-up of an amber ale, blonde ale, and an American pale, with ten beers on tap and single and a double high-point IPA, which are also for sale in their bottle shop. Signature brews include the Mosaic Pale, Holiday Ale, Coffee Cream, and 16 oz. cans of IPA and Double IPA.

7. Moab Brewery
Founded in 1996 by John Borkoski and Dave Sabey, the Moab Brewery is the region’s only microbrewery, producing a range of ales on tap and a root beer. Naming their ales after the beautiful surrounding landscapes of the desert, Moab Brewery produces over ten brews, including Dead Horse Ale, Red Rye IPA, Derailleur Red Ale, Over the Top Hefeweizen, and Raven Stout, as well as house-made root beer. Conveniently located on Main Street in Moab, the Moab Brewery also has a favorite restaurant that serves lunch and dinner of classic pub-style fare such as steaks, burgers, chicken dishes, pasta, and salads, as well as a vibrant bar which draws a crowd on the weekends to sample the brewery’s products and socialize.
