A quiet retreat in Lake Louise, Alberta, Deer Lodge is a destination for those looking to enjoy the outdoors and get away from the stress of their job.
Hike on nearby trails, walk the shores of the lake, and relax in the rooftop hot tub. There is a free shuttle bus to the ski area during the ski season. There are 73 Tower, Heritage, and Lodge rooms all with private bath, duvet comforters, and an in room safe.
None of the rooms have televisions or VCRs and all of the rooms are non-smoking.
The Mt. Fairview Dining Room with great views of the Victoria Glacier, offers a menu of Rocky Mountain Cuisine, and has an award winning wine list.
The Caribou Lodge is open for breakfast and lunch. The property is 4 kilometers off of the Trans Canada Highway, a 2-hour drive from Calgary. There are a number of packages offered in low season (403-410-7417).
