Located in the heart of metropolitan Memphis, the Lichterman Nature Center is a beautifully maintained natural environment made up of 65 acres of meadows of native wildflowers, forests, and a lake that is home to a wealth of fauna and flora. In addition to being on the city’s top environmental and educational centers, the nature retreat also offers a unique venue for special celebrations and occasions such as weddings and receptions with both indoor and outdoor options. The William A. Loewenberg Visitor Center features five outdoor pavilions for meetings and gala events, while the Davidson Special Events Pavilion is a 2,160-square-foot outdoor pavilion with a massive stone fireplace, serving kitchen, picnic tables, and restrooms.
