The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania is a railroad museum located in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. The museum’s holdings include more than 100 pieces of rolling stock and historic locomotives that tell the story of the history of the railroad in the United States. The museum features several interactive exhibits, including one that allows visitors to simulate driving a real freight locomotive. You can also go inside a real caboose, look at the underside of a locomotive, and watch live restoration activities. The museum also has an observation deck that allows visitors to see the trains in the outdoor yard from above. There is a gift shop for those who wish to take home a souvenir or gift from their visit.
