Kids will have a blast as they play around in Abilene Splash Pads. Located next door to other big attractions like Abilene Zoo and Fort Imagination playground, the Grover Nelson Park Splash Pad offers a small, colorful water park filled with imaginative water sprays and fountains. Four other splash pads can be found throughout Abilene in Redbud Park, Arthur Sears Park, Scarborough Park, and Stevenson Park. The splash pads are all home to over a dozen water features—some of which include water slides and giant dumping buckets for twice the fun. All splash pads are also equipped with drinking fountains and restroom facilities, and most offer shaded seating and picnic areas.
