Review:

Pok-E-Jo's Smokehouse Inc. was founded by two barbecue enthusiasts in the late 1970s and has since grown to include several popular locations scattered throughout Austin. The kitchen staff begin smoking the meat in the morning as soon as the delivery arrives and all the side dishes are made twice a day to ensure the food is as fresh as possible. Barbecue plates come with two sides, Texas toast, and unlimited condiments, but meats can also be ordered in a sandwich or by the pound. The menu includes several gluten-free items, and special family packs are available for take-out.
