Fair Park in Dallas, Texas was designated in 1986 as a National Historic Landmark and encompasses more than 275 acres near downtown Dallas. The park is home to one of the largest collections of architecture and art in the Art Deco style in the world. Fair Park is also the only unaltered and intact world fair site from before the 1950’s in the country. The world fair was held in 1936 in commemoration of the Texas Republic’s one hundredth anniversary.
