Sadlers Creek State Recreation Area is located on a peninsula jutting into Lake Hartwell. The lake itself is a reservoir of the Savannah River. The park hosts a total of 52 RV and tent campsites, and 14 tent-camping-only sites. There are also five large group camping sites.
