Review:

Managed by the City of Clemson, the Clemson Area African American Museum (CAAAM) was established to collect, exhibit and preserve the rich history and culture of African Americans in the city and upstate South Carolina. The museum is located in what was once a segregated African American elementary school. In addition to showcasing a large volume of documents, photographs and other interesting historic artifacts, the museum also hosts regular oral history workshops, cultural festivals and movie nights. You can visit the museum from Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm and on the first Saturday of each month from 11am to 4pm.
