Review & FAQ:
This secluded ecotourism resort is designed to bring you closer to nature with many outdoor activities and modern amenities. The main lodge has seven junior suites and a more spacious suite, while the Beaver Hall by the river has three guest rooms and there is also a two-bedroom cottage. All rooms have L’Occitane products, beam ceilings, log walls, and full amenities. Many also have patios or porches and hand-cut stone fireplaces.
Trout Point Lodge Of Nova Scotia Wilderness Resort is set on 100 acres of land filled with trees and bordering the Tobeatic Wilderness Area and the Tusket and Napier Rivers. While there, guests can go swimming in the river, canoeing, kayaking, forest bathing, hiking, take a nature walk, relax in the outdoor wood-fired hot tub and barrel sauna, go on a geo-tour, take a cooking class, or just relax. The public areas have wood-burning fireplaces for warmth and a cozy atmosphere. Other public areas include the Great Room, dining rooms, mezzanine library, two bars, a kitchen, and recreational areas along the banks of the rivers. Guests can dine at the intimate Chez la Foret or at the larger but cozy Bois et Charbon, both of which specialize in seafood with other options available. There is always a full a la carte breakfast in the morning.
