The small town of Lansdale is located just 20 miles from Philadelphia, where it has become a popular commuter town. Although the town is quite densely populated you do not have to travel far to find yourself in the countryside, where you can visit rural attractions like Merrymead Farm, the Peter Wentz Farmstead Museum and the very old Morgan Log House which was built more than 300 years ago. If you would like to go walking or running you can try the trails at Stony Creek Park which also offers fishing and a playground for children. There are plenty of good restaurants, a brewery, winery and distillery to explore.
