When it was established in 1930, Wayne Art Center was the first art center in the Main Line suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Wayne Art Center’s first exhibition featured work by its young students, and was meant mostly to show parents their children’s art. The Center has state-of-the art studios and airy and welcoming gallery spaces. The center offers instruction for all ages in the visual arts, crafts, music, culinary arts, and drama. It is located in a bright and modern facility surrounded by award-winning gardens. More than 6,000 students take advantage of what center offers every year and more than 30,000 visitors come each year. .
