Located on the South Fork of the Walla Walla River, Harris Park is a natural oasis that offers a wealth of outdoor recreational activities. Owned and operated by Umatilla County, the park has a full-service campground with RV and tent sites with full hook-ups, overnight cabins with kitchens, and modern restrooms. 3. Dragon's Gate Brewery

Nestled down a country road on a beautiful 10-acre farm in the heart the Walla Walla Wine Country, Dragon's Gate Brewery is a locally owned brewery that produces Belgian-style and Farmhouse ales. Surrounded by pristine vineyards, fruit orchards, and rolling fields of wheat, the brewery is owned by Adam and Jennifer Gregory who are inspired by the rich brewing traditions of the Old World and use the highest quality ingredients and the changing seasons to produce award-winning ales. Handcrafted ales are brewed on a rotating seasonal basis and the farmhouse tasting room offers between five and seven different ales for visitors to sample.

4. The Blue Mountain Cider Company

The Blue Mountain Cider Company is an award-winning cidery owned by a second-generation apple farmer in the Walla Walla Valley that produces highly acclaimed hard ciders made from homegrown apples. Founded by Ron Brown in 2003, the Blue Mountain Cider Company only uses apples grown in the southern end of the Walla Walla Valley to make freshly pressed, handcrafted cider. The cidery is located in the historic 1944 Watermill Building, a former fruit packing plant for the Watermill Food Company, as well as the Taproom for tastings and tours, and a games room for entertainment.

5. Frazier Farmstead Museum

Built in 1892, the Frazier Farmstead Museum is a historic house museum dedicated to the history of the Milton-Freewater area. Constructed by William Samuel Frazier in the late 1800s and occupied by his family for 115 years. In 1983 the house was converted into a museum and today is operated and maintained as a beautifully restored house and farm museum by the Milton-Freewater Area Historical Society. The museum houses a collection of antique furnishings and other artifacts from the 19th century and the surrounding six-acre property features a carriage house, a 1918 barn, and several other buildings that were part of a turn-of-the-century working farm.

6. Joe Humbert Family Aquatic Center

Located in Yantis Park, the Joe Humbert Family Aquatic Center is a family-friendly recreation park with an array of fun amenities for the whole family. The center features a 25-meter, six-lane swimming pool, a zero-depth gradual entry swimming pool with three-story water, 170’ flume water slide, a bathhouse with showers, a sand volleyball court, a covered shelter, concession stands, and a variety of water toys for all age groups. The Aqua Center offers community-focused activities like swimming lessons, lap swimming, water aerobics, and private rentals of the center for events and functions.

Founded by Lan Wong and James Boulanger, artisanal bakers and foodies, the chocolatier creates exquisitely made chocolates and other fine treats that reflect the complex flora of the region, such as anise, lavender, rosemary, clove, and violet. Signature chocolate treats from Petits Noirs chocolates are hand-dipped buttons of dark chocolate with melt-in-the-mouth ganache fillings of fresh cream, butter, chocolate, herbs, and spices.
