Review:
Alberta Abbey is northeast Portland’s tony performance and event center. The modern auditorium has theater seating for 400 (250 on the main floor, 150 in the balcony). The neutral color palette and several windows give the space plenty of light and offer a blank canvas for the couple’s imagination. Extras include a lounge area, coat room, foyer, green room for entertainers, and kitchenette. The 2,000-square-foot ballroom features an 800-square-foot raised stage, gleaming maple flooring, neutral décor, a catering kitchen, and a lobby. There is a modern bridal suite with contemporary furnishings and lighting, and a private bathroom for pre-wedding preparations.
