The Paul O'Brien Winery was founded by two winemakers who share a friendship that goes back twenty years and a passion for fine weine, a gracious life, and great food. Scott O’Brien Kelley and Dyson Paul DeMara met during their time working at Napa Valley’s Robert Mondavi Winery and have since spent time traveling to the wine regions of the world, sharing New World technique and learning Old War winemaking traditions. The two joined forces in 2013 to open the first urban winery in the Umpqua Valley, located inside a historic building in downtown Roseburg, Oregon, with a tasting room that’s open daily.
