For those who want to witness just how powerful the ocean can be, make your way north of Pacific City towards the Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area . Cape Kiwanda is a sandstone headline that offers visitors the best vantage point of the mighty ocean, as it is one of three of the beloved Capes Scenic Route. While the views are what draw people to Cape Kiwanda, there are also a ton of recreational activities to enjoy for outdoorsy folk. The park is home to the Pacific City beach, which is a fantastic place to soak up some sun and relax on the shoreline.
