Review:

The Columbus Athenaeum is a magnificently restored urban palace in the heart of downtown Columbus featuring ten distinct event spaces. This includes two theatres, a grand ballroom, and seven additional elegantly designed event rooms. The Olympian Ballroom is a favorite for many with 12,450 square feet of space, soaring 25-foot-high hand-painted ceilings, 15 Corinthian columns, and a 20-foot wraparound balcony. Intimate and romantic weddings are perfect for the Small Theatre. Built in 1889, it provides Old World charm with four vintage chandeliers and a turn of the century-style balcony. The Priory, a 12th century room with vaulted ceilings, interior buttresses, and mosaic depictions of the Crusades provides a medieval ambiance.
