Salt Fork State Park is a popular recreation area about 6 miles from Lore City in Guernsey County, Ohio. With 17,229 acres of land and 2,952 acres of water, it is Ohio’s largest state park. Within the park is the historic Kennedy Stone House. The park has a 2,500-foot swimming beach, an 18-hole golf course, seven boat-launching ramps, two marinas, and fishing for largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, walleye, and muskellunge. It also offers picnicking facilities, hiking trails, trails for snowmobiling and horseback riding, miniature golf, an archery range, and a nature center.
