Review:

The Walter Elwood Museum, or also known as the Walter Elwood Museum of the Mohawk Valley, is an official “Path Through History Site” established in 1981 to preserve a school-owned, small museum in the Amsterdam area. The museum includes an extensive collection of around 25,000 artifacts associated with the Mohawk Valley’s natural, Victorian, and multicultural history, along with items related to its colorful industrial past. Cultural events, educational classes, and programs are hosted here as well. The Walter Elwood Museum is typically open Monday to Friday from 9:00am until 4:00pm and on Saturdays from noon until 4:00pm.
