The Sknnonh Great Law of Peace Center tells the history and heritage of the Haudenosaunee people, also known as the Iroquois Confederacy, a Native American collective that included five nations: the Mohawk, Onondaga, Oneida, Cayuga, Seneca, and Tuscarora people. The museum focuses especially on the stories of the Onondaga Nation, which is native to the Syracuse region. The exhibits, which feature multimedia displays, paintings by Haudenosaunee people, and artifacts from history, will teach visitors about the origins, lifestyles, and cultures of the Onondaga people.
