New York has no shortage of fun things to see and do, but if you're looking for some old-fashioned family fun, nothing beats a visit to one of the state's amusement parks. The summer months are perfect for riding thrilling roller coasters and splashing around in waterparks, but there's plenty to do during the rest of the year as well - why not take a haunted theme park tour to celebrate Halloween or pay a visit to Santa's Workshop in the winter? There are more than enough New York amusement parks to keep the whole family entertained, but here are the best of the best.
