The Carolina Treetop Challenge in the town of Albemarle, North Carolina is a self-guided experience of adventure climbing, made up of several different challenging treetop courses designed to both mentally and physically reward visitors and provide a positive, safe experience for all outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can test their agility and balance as they climb from tree to tree as much as sixty feet above the forest floor. The participant-controlled zip lines and military style obstacles provide exhilarating thrills, with challenges including obstacles like Tarzan rope swings, suspended bridges, balance beams, and wobbly bridges set far up from the ground below.
