Review:

Located in a rest area just off the I-85, the North Carolina Vietnam Veterans Memorial was erected to commemorate the brave soldiers who were lost in the Vietnam War. A walkway leads from the parking lot to the monument, which is made entirely out of North Carolina red brick, and a plaque on the wall names each and every one of the more than 1,600 North Carolinians who lost their life in the war. The monument is also surrounded with beautiful evergreen trees that were planted in memory of all the Americans who lost their lives in the conflict.
