The Picnic House in Prospect Park is a popular indoor/outdoor wedding venue in the heart of Brooklyn. The historic building boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors and commands sweeping views out over the 90 acre Long Meadow. The fact that the venue is surrounded by parklands lends a country-feel to the venue and you have acres of beautiful greenery as the backdrop to your photos. In summer, most couples opt to exchange vows on the lawn outside the building and then move indoors for the reception. The picnic house can accommodate up to 175 guests for a seated reception with dancing space and your venue rental includes the use of tables, chairs and an upright piano.
