Bowling Green is the oldest park in New York City used initially as a cattle market. A small patch of green with benches, flowers and a round fountain, the park is situated north of Battery Park , at the southern tip of Broadway.
Bowling Green is home to a 7,000-pound bronze statue of the Charging Bull, visited by numerous tourists every year and often touched by stock market investors for good luck.
