The city of Lambertville is fortunate to have several city parks which provide much-needed green spaces where residents can exercise, play sport or just relax. The largest of these is Ely Field, which has various playing fields and a Learning Garden. Cavallo Park is another outdoor gem which is home to the largest children’s playground in the city. It also boasts an outdoor pavilion and fireplace and is often used for children’s birthday parties. The D&R Canal runs alongside the Delaware River where it offers a popular space for walking, running and cycling. Arnett Park, North Union Street Park, Mary Sheridan Park and the Lambertville Nature Trail are other popular recreational green spaces in the city.
