The historic 1899 Wright Inn and Carriage House was built for the Wright family in 1899 in the Montford community of Asheville. The building is an outstanding example of the Colonial Revival style of Queen Anne architecture, which is characterized by slightly odd shapes, styles and colors. You can feast your eyes on the multiple gables, Doric-columned porch and slate roof. Inside, the Wright Inn is just as impressive, boasting elegant and sumptuous period guestrooms and suites, each of which would have impressive tales to tell. The carriage house is spacious and can accommodate groups and visitors with pets. Special Romantic packages are available for special occasion stays.
