The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, previously called Riverport Amphitheatre, UMB Bank Pavilion and Verizon Wireless Amphitheater St. Louis, is a 7,000-seat outdoor concert venue, with additional lawn seating for 13,000. It is located in Maryland Heights, Missouri, near St. Louis. The venue was opened on June 14, 1991, with a concert by Steve Winwood. The amphitheater hosted a range of large names in music world. A riot erupted during the concert by Guns n’ Roses in 1991. The bands REO Speedwagon and Styx performed at the venue in 2000.
