Klondike Park is one of the best places for camping in the Augusta region. Whether you’re into rustic camping of glamping, there are options of you. There are 43 campsites for those interested in RVing or tenting, and there are six cabins that sleep up to eight. Along with camping, visitors can use the amenities in the park, including a shower house, a playground, and the famous Katy Trail. Klondike Park is located on the Missouri River, so boaters can dock and go out as they please. The onsite lake encourages harvest fishing, which is the opposite of catch and release. This helps to maintain fish populations.
