The Character Challenge Adventure Park is an ideal attraction for an action-packed family day out. The action takes place at the Aerial Adventure Complex where visitors will find a suitable package for just about all family members (most children 7 years and older will be able to enjoy the low ropes course). Thrill-seeking adults and older children can take things a step further as they move on to the more challenging high ropes Adventure Package and the Extreme Package. The adventure park is also perfect for corporate team-building, tourists and groups of friends who just want an adventurous day out.

2. Two Inlets State Forest

Two Inlets State Forest is located just 10 miles from Park Rapids, where it covers over 20,000 acres of rolling hills and lowlands. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, the state forest boasts an excellent variety of trails for year-round activities. Hikers will find 4.4 miles of scenic hiking trails, while ATV and off-road motor cycle enthusiasts have 6 miles of trails to explore. In addition, there are 27 miles of snow-mobile trails which link up to other areas. You can also enjoy boating and fishing on three lakes and seasonal hunting is allowed. You can bring a picnic to enjoy at the Hungryman Lake Picnic area or set up camp at the campground.
