The Island House Hotel features 95 guestrooms and historic suites in varying sizes and layouts with private balconies overlooking the Mackinac Island State Park. Each suite features one or two bedrooms with king, queen or double beds with pillow-top mattresses and plush linens, private bathrooms with walk-in showers, whirlpool-style tubs, fresh towels and deluxe bath amenities. Traditional rooms can be found throughout the hotel and are available with various bed sizes, while deluxe rooms offer beautiful ocean views. The 1852 Grill Room is an elegant restaurant with stunning views of the Straits of Mackinac that serves an innovative menu of continental cuisine in a casual fine dining atmosphere. Open for breakfast and dinner, the restaurant offers outdoor terrace seating for sunny brunches and a comfortable in which to enjoy pre- or post-dinner drinks.
Ice House Bar & Grill is a casual café-style eatery with a quiet, garden-side seating and a cozy, air-conditioned indoor area that serves fresh salads, gourmet sandwiches, and homemade potato chips. The bar also offers a comprehensive menu of cocktails, craft beers and fine wines from around the world. The Ice House Bar & Grill is open for lunch, cocktails and dinner.
