Review:

The Northville Art House is a non-profit organization and a governmental department of the City of Northville, Michigan. It was opened in 2005 in order to further the art and cultural activities of the community through the Northville Arts Commission. The Art House is located in the historic Scout Building, the Colonial Revival mansion constructed in 1963 as a home to the Northville Boy and Girl Scouts. At some point, the Scout Building became a Senior Center, before becoming the Northville Art House. The Northville Art House offers exhibitions, manages the artisan store and organizes various interactive art events. The art exhibitions increase the public awareness of fine art and artists exhibitions in the Exhibition Gallery, on the Emerging Artist Wall and in neighborhoods. Monthly exhibitions and consigned artwork in the Artisan Store showcase works of established, emerging and student artists in a variety of mediums and styles.
