The building itself is scenic, tucked right up against the shores of the lake, which is significantly smaller and less intimidating than nearby Lake Michigan, and has a private beach area where guests can sunbathe, relax, or swim. Inside, there is always some sort of refreshment available for guests -- a plate of handmade cookies or a pitcher of ice cold lemonade -- and the staff is always friendly and ready to help.
