This botanical garden is enclosed by glass and first opened its doors in 2010. Located about 20 minutes northwest of downtown Detroit, the Planterra Conservatory offers future newlyweds a unique wedding venue for their big day. The glass structure was crafted to resemble Parisian arcades influenced by Baron Haussmann and was imported from Izegem, Belgium. The property features beautiful, curved European trusses, a dramatic gabion archway made of stone, koi ponds, and a vibrant collection of exotic botanicals.
