Flour Bakery and Cafe is a delightful bakery chain offering nine locations throughout the greater Boston and Cambridge areas, including a main production bakery and classroom facility location at Design Center Place. The bakery, which was founded in 2000 by pastry chef Joanne Chang and business partner Christopher Myers, serves up a delicious menu of pastries and baked goods throughout the day, all prepared in house daily by the bakery's professional staff. Savory goods served up throughout the day include a variety of salads, grain bowls, and hearty sandwiches, including breakfast sandwiches and delicious grilled sandwiches crafted on the bakery's housemade bread. A wide array of sweets is also served up throughout the day, ranging from breakfast pastries to decadent cookies, pies, and cakes.
