Magooby’s Joke House is a large showroom in Timonium, Maryland, showcasing national and local stand-up comics. It is considered one of the best comedy clubs in the country and the top comedy club in the Baltimore area. The venue can accommodate about 350 guests and has state of the art sound and lighting system, a 240 square foot stage and superb sight lines. The venue has a full bar service and offers great pub grub. The guests are invited to come before and after shows to the adjacent Wits End Saloon bar. Wits End features more than 50 kinds of whiskey, craft cocktails, a large selection of specialty beers and excellent food, with many dishes not served in the club.

Michael’s Café is a family-owned and operated restaurant in Timonium, Baltimore County, with another location in White Marsh-Middle River. The Dellis family open the restaurant in 1984, and it quickly became known for its famous homemade crab cakes; prepared using a secret family recipe that dates back over four generations. Besides their signature crab cakes, Michael’s offers a diverse contemporary American menu, focusing on fresh seafood and prime steaks, homemade soups, salads, and sandwiches. They offer extensive and very popular weekend brunch and creative specials which combine seasonal and local ingredients whenever available. After its third renovation, their Timonium location is bright and spacious, with an elegant indoor lounge and pleasant outdoor patio, long bar with a range of TVs and tasteful recycled barnwood details everywhere. There is live music every Friday.
