If you have some time waiting for your connecting flight at the Baltimore/Washington International Airport, stop by the BWI Marshall Airport Observation Gallery. Located on the upper level, next to the B/C security checkpoint, the Observation Gallery displays fascinating objects and exhibits, including a 28-foot tall sounding rocket donated by the NASA and a half-sized model of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory’s Solar Probe Plus spacecraft. A photo mural near the aircraft cockpit shows what a pilot sees when landing on Runway 33L at the Marshall Airport. Visitors can use binocular viewers to watch airport operations. The Observation Gallery also has kids’ play equipment and a Maryland Youth Art Gallery. There is also a model of Maryland One, the Southwest Airlines specialty aircraft. Sky Azure bistro offers small plates and a selection of local craft beers, international wines, and hand-crafted cocktails.

The North Arundel Aquatic Center is a swimming location in Glen Burnie, Maryland. In its heart is an 8-lane 25 yard competition pool. There is also a leisure pool with zero depth entry, three 20-yard lap lanes and indoor water features. The water features consist of a 134-foot water slide, splash area, water buckets, vortex area, preschool water slide and poolside spa. The Center offers swimming lessons for kids of all ages. The Center has locker rooms with coin-operated lockers. Kids 12-years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult. The Center is open seven days a week.

There is a range of family-style dining that includes Ruby Tuesdays and Sbarro's There is an eight-screen movie theatre Horizon Theaters/Marley Station Movies near the food court. Marley Station Mall is conveniently located on Governor Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie, with easy access to other communities such as Ferndale, Pasadena, Severna Park and Millersville.
