The very first Don’s Seafood opened its doors in Lafayette in 1934. Such was the success of that initial eatery that Don’s legacy continues with his family to this day. The original concept of serving the freshest possible traditional Cajun food and delicious cocktails has proven to be a winner and today there are 6 branches of Don’s Seafood in South Louisiana. You can look forward to enjoying legendary Don’s specialties like their Jacked Up Shrimp and Zydeco Shrimp. Other favorites include Blackened Alligator, Charbroiled Oysters, Shrimp and Catfish Combo, Gumbo and The Fourchon (fresh gulf fish with creamy crab sauce). Carnivore’s can select fillet or a Cajun Cowboy Ribeye.
