The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame & Northwest Louisiana History are part of the Louisiana State Museum and are located in Natchitoches, Louisiana. The Sports Hall of Fame celebrates the history of sports in Louisiana and the achievements of more than 300 Louisiana athletes, coaches and other sports personalities. The Northwest Louisiana History Museum explores the history, culture and traditions in the area from early native-American civilizations to this day.

The museum opened in its new facility located on Cane River Lake in 2013. It is designed with a winding molded stone interiors and earth-colored outside sheathing to evoke the river. The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame was originally founded in 1958 by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. It was located for a while at the Northwestern State University until the new Hall of Fame was completed in 2013.
