Review:

Green River Distilling Co. is home to an area rich in bourbon heritage. Its roots date all the way back to 1885, when J.W. McCulloch first opened and produced Green River whiskies. After the distillery was destroyed by a fire in 1918, the property became home to a number of other distilleries through the years. Now, together with the support of J.W. McCulloch’s great-grandson, the distillery has gone back to its original name and is now a heritage member of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Visitors are welcome to tour the distillery and see every step of the production process from grains to barreling. Afterwards, they may enjoy a taste of the authentic, local bourbon and rye whiskies, which are testaments to fine Kentucky craftsmanship.
