Opened in the Bonner Springs community in 1977, the Sunflower Hills Municipal Golf Course is one of the Kansas City metropolitan area’s most affordable and challenging eighteen-hole golf courses. Featuring spacious fairways, the golf course is part of the Sunflower Golf Trail, as well as a programming facility with The First Tee of Greater Kansas City. The Junior Course at Sunflower Hills consists of a practice bunker, putting green, driving range, three tee sets, and six holes. This year-round golf course is also home to water hazards, numerous bunkers, zoysia fairways, rolling greens, and one of the Midwest’s largest putting greens.
