This miniature theme park in Melide allows visitors to see some of the most iconic attractions in Switzerland all within walking distance. The miniature versions of historical and modern Swiss places are all accurate and to scale and includes cable car stations, city halls, churches, and train stations in addition to the most well-known exhibits. A train is available to guide visitors through the park, and a restaurant is on-site as well. Some of the highlights of the Swissminiatur include the Basel Cathedral, Bellinzona Castle, Thun Castle, Stockalper Palace, Neuchatel Castle and Cathedral, and the Milan Cathedral, although it is located in Italy, not Switzerland.
