A restaurant might be the last place you would think to find a ceramic museum, yet that’s exactly what guests will get when they visit the La Caravella Art Gallery.

This quirky museum was founded in 2009 when the La Caravella restaurant celebrated its 50th anniversary. At this museum, the colors, shapes, and textures of the Amalfi Coast come alive through every piece displayed. Unlike many other museums, guests are actually encouraged to touch the ceramics at this restaurant in order to gain a more holistic appreciation of ceramic arts.

That’s not all there is to a visit to La Caravella though. As a gastronomic icon in Amalfi, guests are welcome to tuck into a meal of elevated cuisine made with local ingredients. Don’t forget to sample their excellent selection from the wine cellar while you view their incredible collection of art.
