The Field of Dreams Movie Site in Dyersville, Iowa is open seven days a week. Visitors can see the Lansing Family Farm House, walk through corn depending on the time of year, and play on the movie set’s baseball diamond.
Guests can take a guided tour of the house and learn about the family homestead’s history and how the home became the movie set in the 1989 classic film for the Kinsella family.
The Stretch, a concession stand on the third base line in the baseball field, offers beer, water, soda, and snacks from 10:00am until 5:00pm.

2. National Farm Toy Museum

Open every day, the unique National Farm Toy Museum provides visitors with an opportunity to take a “small-scale adventure” into agriculture to revel in the museum collections and learn more about the history of agriculture.
Items on display on the second floor of the farm-focused museum include John Deere tractors, pedal tractors, farm toys from Russia and Brazil, pieces dating back the late 1800’s, and much more.
The first floor of the National Farm Toy Museum consists of a children’s play area, a short film about Dyersville’s toy manufacturing history, and an exhibit about how toys are made.

3. St. Francis Basilica

The St. Francis Basilica has been a treasure of the Catholic church among the state of Iowa’s cornfield for more than 125 years. The church welcomes visitors to come and see the St. Francis Basilica, to attend Mass, to appreciate the Catholic heritage to church celebrates and loves, or simply just to pray.
Originally St. Francis Xavier Church, the beginning of St. Francis Basilica took place back in 1862 where the town’s first Catholic church was built. Guests can take a tour of the church or pray in the peaceful setting from 7:00am until 8:00pm, seven days a week.

4. Dyer-Botsford Doll Museum

A visit to the Victorian mansion now known as the Dyer-Botsford Doll Museum offers visitors, both history buffs and antique lovers alike, a glimpse into the history of Dyersville, Iowa.
The house itself was built by the founder of Dyersville, James Dyer.
Interesting artifact displays and beautiful antiques make the historic house one of the main attractions in town.
The doll collection at the Dyer-Botsford Doll Museum showcases more than 2,000 dolls. Other items on display include a 1912 feather Christmas tree with German, Czech, and Polish ornaments, a hand-carved miniature circus, vintage wedding dresses, and antique furniture.

5. Textile Brewing Company

The Textile Brewing Company is a community-centered and community-driven craft brewery in eastern Iowa town of Dyersville, housed inside a vintage sewing factory. Originally built back in 1906 as a gasoline engine factory, the building was used as a sewing factory from 1910 to 2017. Everything now in the Textile Brewing Company’s taproom, except for the bar top and chairs, was found inside the building when the brewery bought it. The brewery is known for clean and classic beers, aiming to make beers accessible to everyone. Beer styles include sours, stouts, IPAs, pilsners, several types of lagers and ales.
